Born in Slovakia, raised by Mongolians, studied in Sweden, and lived in Prague, with roots in Ukraine, Marek Bero is a true Londoner.

Bass guitar is my life. I have been playing since I was fifteen, and since then, I have been part of many amazing musical groups.
 

I’ve played thousands of concerts and workshops, including festivals such as Sonisphere, Ozzfest, Simple Things, Dimension, and many more.

Since 2011 I have been part of the music scene in London, UK where I continue my musical career as a musical director, session player and bass tutor.

 

In recent years I’ve been working extensively with the producer’s team Andy Wright/Gavin Goldberg (Jeff Beck, Simple Minds, Simply Red etc.)
